Synopsis
In 1882 Jelena Ika Markovic attempted to murder the king Milan Obrenovic in Saint Michael’s Cathedral in Belgrade. She was sentenced to 20 years of prison, but soon she was found dead in her prison cell. The official version was that she hung herself with a towel by the bed. There are traces that the suicide wasn't possible. The same day, seven years later, two bodies were found. The fishermen found a body of a girl on the bank of the river Sava and the body of prince Milos's great grandson was found in the woods of Topcider. We are going to find out that both of these murders were connected with the assasination in Saint Michael’s Cathedral in Belgrade. After a long time, the case has been reopened. A failed lawyer and the chief of Belgrade police are investigating her death, each of them for their own reasons, but in the case of Mrs. Markovic the truth won't bring any good.
